Taylor Lee Bentzen
Founder, Principal Designer
After graduating from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music in 2019, Taylor transitioned into the world of design, focusing on residential projects throughout the Los Angeles. With a deep appreciation for architecture and craftsmanship, she draws inspiration from a diverse range of global styles, blending traditional influences with modern sensibilities to create spaces that feel both timeless and sophisticated.
Her passion for design extends beyond aesthetics—she prioritizes longevity, functionality, and the seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. This philosophy led her to establish West Malibu Studio following her first ground-up project: the design and construction of a family home in Malibu, California. Since then, she has continued to refine her approach, curating thoughtful, well-executed designs that enhance the way people experience their homes.
